THE INCUBATOR A pop-up dedicated to fostering the female voice

Dec 19 2017, 10:28 am

How can we benefit from continued dialogue around gender, or by coming together in a supportive and educational context? The Incubator will be an experimental project space that seeks to be a welcoming and supportive space for emerging cultural practitioners through opportunities for mentorship, skills development and networking. It is our hope that through collective participation, we will be able to open up a dialogue that is both critical and generative in a theoretical context but has a practical impact on young women seeking direction.

The space will be open Monday, May 5th – Sunday, May 11th from 12 noon to 5pm. On site you will find a library of books that have influenced our participants, which you can browse through while drinking free tea or coffee. Sometimes we might play movies, or get into heated debates- hopefully instigated by you. Come hang out.
