A career fair themed around bringing together impactful, do-good organizations
that are actively recruiting is taking place in Vancouver this month.

The Impact Career Fair 2019 aims to connect mission-driven companies and candidates with the same values.

For the event’s third year, attendees are able to meet company representatives, learn more about the origin stories of each company, why they started, what their missions are, and how they plan to make a difference in the world.

The event ascribes to a values-based approach as opposed to a skill-based approach to hiring, because according to their website, “the best employees are the ones who really believe in your mission and want to be a part of a movement that’s greater than themselves.”

The career fair will be held on May 29 from 6 to 9 pm, at SFU’s Segal Graduate School of Business, and will feature up to 400-500 job candidates connecting with up to 15 forward-thinking companies.

You can check out their website for more information on the upcoming career fair.
