You can get this ice cream poké bowl in Vancouver for one week only

Poké might be one of the hottest food trends around town right now, but we all know ice cream is something we’re always going to love. So why not mash-up the two?

Before you go getting grossed out, there’s no seafood in this unique ice cream “poké bowl” that’s going to be available in Vancouver for one week only.

This year for National Ice Cream Day (which happens on Sunday, July 16) food delivery service foodora teamed up Vancouver restaurant partners Marble Slab Creamery and Melu Juice and challenged them to come up with a fun collab ice cream item.

The result: The Twisted Poké Bowl.

It’s made with birthday cake ice cream, frozen blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, Melu’s house made cacao sauce (cacao powder, dates and cinnamon), coconut flakes, dehydrated cranberries, goji berries, and chia seed, and it goes for $9.

But there’s only one way to get your hot little hands on it, and only one week when it’s available. From Sunday, July 16 to Sunday, July 23, foodora customers will log on and see the “National Ice Cream Day” section on Melu and Marble Slab’s pages, and select the “Twisted Poké Bowl.”

One more important note: This collab ice cream poké bowl is available for pick-up only, at either Melu Juice (1110 W Pender Street) or Marble Slab (1184 Denman Street #103). To be fair, you probably don’t want to have a delivery person bring you a melted treat, right?

Happy National Ice Cream Day!
