From the basketball court to his wardrobe, Serge Ibaka’s talents know no bounds. So with lots of time on his hands, the Toronto Raptors big man put a call out to his Instagram followers this week, inviting fans to participate in a talent show on Instagram Live.

“Can you sing? Are you a beatmaker? Do you do art? Are you a baller? What kind of talent do you have?” Ibaka asked his followers. “While we are all social distancing and in quarantine, I’d like to bring positivity and reward talent and creativity.”

Ibaka invited fans to participate by DM’ing a video showing a special talent. Contestants will be selected and perform on Instagram Live.

The Congolese basketball star said he will donate $20,000 to help combat COVID-19 in the winner’s city or region. The winner will also receive a signed #9 Ibaka jersey.

Ibaka says he will run the talent show every other day at 5 pm ET/2 pm PT, with the first edition taking place today.

Midway through today’s inaugural competition, Ibaka was paid a visit by former Raptors teammate DeMar DeRozan.

After Ibaka demanded that DeRozan sing for everyone, the former Raptors star had another idea… But not before teasing his old buddy.

“I’m going to help with the charity too, how about that?” said DeRozan, adding that he’ll match Ibaka’s $20,000 donation.

DeRozan also said that he’s going to help judge the next round.
