Hyperlapse video shows drive from San Francisco to Vancouver and back in 3 minutes

It’s about a 1,500 kilometre drive from San Francisco to Vancouver, but this fun hyperlapse video makes the trip there and back in just about three minutes.

Instead of the typical I-5 Freeway route, though, this trip shows a drive on a more scenic route. There are lots of small roads with big curves shrouded in foggy treetops that represent the ride through Oregon and Washington.

You’ll recognize the big bridges on either end of the trip, starting with the Golden Gate and including the Lions Gate Bridge before the trek turns southward again on the way back to California. If only that drive were really so fast!
