The ultimate sneaker convention in Vancouver is happening this weekend

The ultimate sneaker and streetwear event is hitting up Vancouver this Saturday.
Its name? Hype City – the city’s next sneaker and streetwear convention.
The Vancouver Sneakerheads Group and Vancouver Streetwear Community have teamed up to host the one-day event that will bring people together to sell, trade, show off their collections, and network with each other. There will also be plenty of chances to win free stuff in raffles and giveaways. Tickets to the exclusive event will cost you just $15 online or $20 at the door.
Hype City/Heat Vault
Hype City will have 100 tables to sell, trade, or show off your shoe collections. This means there will be rare pieces of clothing and sneakers on display, so you’ll have tons of options.
In-demand items can cost up to $1,000 at the event, but if you want them badly then just think of them as an investment for your wardrobe.
This year, the Vancouver Sneakerheads Group and Vancouver Streetwear Community have also teamed up with Dipt and the Vancity Original team for Hype City. And to celebrate, they’ll be selling limited edition hoodies at the event which you’ll be able to snap up.
HVKeymaster/Heat Vault
Located in Vancouver, Heat Vault is one of the most trusted sites to snap up exclusive sneakers and streetwear online in the city and the brand will be hitting up Hype City.
You’ll be able to play on the HVKeymaster to try and win a pair of your favourite sneakers at Hype City. It only costs $5 to play and all you have to do on the machine is guide the key into the key hole to unlock the sneaker of your dreams. It’s that easy, and you could win a pair of the hottest shoes.
