Usually when you think of learning anatomy, it means heavy text books and hours of reading – Paula Jaspar wants to change that.

Started on September 29, she launched a Kickstarter Campagin for “A fun way to master Human Anatomy: Humanatomy.” Humanatomy is the innovative project of Paula Jaspar. She recognized that there is a move toward the gammification of education and has seen the shift in student engagement toward mobile devices over the last 15 years of teaching. She has self funded the development of the art, design, legal and is using Kickstarter for fund raising to complete the coding and polishing.

Humanatomy is an app based interactive game to learn human anatomy. This app has incredible images, game based learning, human sound, reward and tracking system, flashcards and supportive YouTube channel.

“I deeply believe that anyone curious about human anatomy will benefit from Huamantomy.  Humanatomy is multiplatformed so that you could play an app, watch videos and interact with the website content and our staff. Learning is dynamic and the resources will be continuously changing and improving.”

“My story is simple: I am a mother of four, wife of 19 years, a registered massage therapist for over 16 years, instructor of anatomy and massage for over 15 years and a graduate student at SFU. I want learning to be fun, accessible and successful. Please help support the completion of my iPad app by pledging or sharing my project. “
