HUB Cycling is encouraging Vancouverites to "bike to transit" this month

Sep 10 2020, 11:10 pm

HUB Cycling is encouraging Vancouverites to change up their commutes by combining biking with transit.

While fall is just around the corner, the sunshine doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, meaning now is the time to hop on that bike and take advantage of the gorgeous weather to commute to the office, school, or just to get around town. Hop on transit to make the trip even faster. Hub CyclingHub Cycling

HUB Cycling has partnered with TransLink, Mobi by Shaw Go, and Better Environmentally Sound Transportation (BEST) to make this happen.

Compass Cardholders can register their cards online to enrol in the Bike Parkade Program. Enrolling in the program is free. Using the bike parkade costs $1/day, with fees capped at $8/month.

To sweeten the deal, you can enter to win a $100 MEC gift card, $200 Visa Gift Card and a Mobi by Shaw Go 365 Day Pass Plus by registering your Compass Card online and enrolling in the Bike Parkade Program between September 1 to 30. Retweet HUB Cycling’s Bike to Transit post on Twitter (@WeAreHUB), OR like a HUB Bike to Transit post on Facebook or Instagram (@hubcycling).

Contest ends September 30th at midnight. The winner will be announced the first week of October.

You can learn more about the benefits and ease of biking to transit at bikehub.ca/biketotransit.
