Be part of a HUB Cycling two-wheeled celebration in Vancouver this weekend (CONTEST)
A free community event to celebrate cycling and demonstrate how fun, affordable, and convenient it is as a transportation option is taking place all this weekend in Vancouver.
On June 22 to 24, presented by HUB Cycling Vancouver, “Bike to Shop Days” encourages support for bike infrastructure on destination streets across Metro Vancouver.
During the event, HUB will be hosting three guided rides in the communities of West Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Steveston.
The weekend is also meant as a way to celebrate the variety of “bike-friendly” businesses.
Along the way, there will be celebration stations and, as an added bonus, discounts at various participating shops all weekend long.
Registration for the event is now available online and includes an entry to win the weekend grand prize from HUB, a Motorino CTi e-bike.
Of course, all that cycling can make a person thirsty, so it might be a good idea to stop by the Pint to cool down with a cold one. And, as media sponsor of this event, we want to give you the chance to do so for free.
