How to watch tonight’s pivotal Vancouver Canucks game in New Jersey because it's not on Sportsnet

Mar 24 2025, 4:10 pm

The Vancouver Canucks are fighting for their playoff lives tonight against the New Jersey Devils, but the game will not be shown on Sportsnet.

Instead of scrolling through the TV guide for the game, Canucks fans will have to stream tonight’s matchup on Amazon Prime. This is the last of four Canucks games this season to be shown on the streaming giant.

It was a game that was supposed to feature all three Hughes brothers, but the Devils will be without Jack Hughes for the remainder of the season. Still, Canucks captain Quinn Hughes will line up against his youngest brother Luke Hughes.

Tonight’s broadcast will begin earlier than usual with an exclusive live stream of New Jersey’s Prudential Center at 3:45 p.m. PDT. This will give fans an intimate look at the arena before the game and throughout warmups.

Amazon will also be doing an exclusive pre-game interview with Devils forward Jesper Bratt.

John Forslund will handle the play-by-play responsibilities, and Blake Bolden, Jody Shelley, and Thomas Hickey will provide the analysis. Adnan Virk will host the broadcast, while Andi Petrillo will be tonight’s rinkside reporter.

Fans wanting to watch the game tonight will have to have an active Amazon Prime subscription to do so. That retails for $9.99 a month or $99 for an annual subscription. Free trials are available to new users, and the Amazon Prime app is available on most major devices.

Puck drop is set for 4:45 p.m. PDT.
