According to this Craigslist posting Hooters is coming back to Vancouver and is also opening up a location in Surrey. Yes, the original “breastaurant” chain is coming to the capital of “breastaurants”, Vancouver. Although, this could of course be another Craigslist scam soliciting women to send photos of themselves.
For those that remember there used to be a Hooters in Vancouver at corner of Robson and Bute. That closed down in the mid 2ooo’s. If Hooters does bounce back and squeeze its way into the Vancouver market a Robson street location would probably be out of the question. Unless it is further down the strip somewhere closer to BC Place.
Unlike the other chain restaurants that have the beautiful women of Vancouver serve in little black dresses, Hooters takes the less classy approach. Perhaps that was their ultimate downfall.
