Honda Celebration of Light App and bleacher seats giveaway

For this first time ever, the Honda Celebration of Light is introducing a new downloadable app that will house all the information fireworks Vancouverites need. As the annual fireworks spectacle nears this app will definitely come in handy. We also secured a neat contest for our readers. We have two bleacher seats for August 1, 2012 night.

In addition to general information about the fireworks, this app will feature:

A schedule of bands performing during SHOREfest in English Bay and Sunset Beach (so you won’t miss any of your favourite bands perform while you’re hanging out at the beach)
A map of things to see and do before the fireworks
A soundtrack to each fireworks performance that will play automatically when the show begins
A voting function for each country so firework fans can vote for the country they feel put on the most spectacular firework display
