Homes for the Holidays is celebrating 20 years in Vancouver

Nov 10 2025, 5:00 pm

Homes for the Holidays is back for its 2025 iteration, marking 20 years of dazzling decor, festive activities, and accelerating the development of safe and affordable homes in Vancouver.

On Saturday, Nov. 15, and Sunday, Nov. 16, guests are invited to step inside UBC’s Cecil Green Park House to bask in its breathtaking transformation.

This well-known mansion turns into a winter wonderland, with six local design teams creating an elaborate holiday showcase that you won’t want to miss.

Meet the designers

This year’s featured designers are Daniel Meloché Design, Formwerks Interiors, Harmony Sense Interiors, Knight Varga Interiors, Madeleine Design Group, and Ross & Company Interiors. All of these are well-established and celebrated teams within Vancouver, so you can definitely expect an amazing result!

From tablescapes to room vignettes, the self-guided tour with live music and refreshments is a wonderful way to reimagine your own home against the backdrop of one of Vancouver’s most prestigious properties.

Perhaps the most anticipated element of Homes For The Holidays is the Terrace of Trees — an elaborate display brought to life by more than 20 local designers.

Guests can also enjoy the return of the popular silent auction, wreath sale, raffle, and boutique boulevard, all of which will be filled to the brim with specially curated holiday treasures.

Everyone deserves a place to call home

Homes for the Holidays is more than a magical event – it’s a way to support important causes and promote community impact.

Over the last two decades, the event has raised more than $1.5 million in support of local charities. This year, Homes For the Holidays will donate proceeds to the YWCA Housing Action Fund, which helps create safe and affordable housing for women and children across Metro Vancouver.

While the YWCA has been a leader in providing housing, advocacy, and support services for more than 125 years, the Housing Action Fund is a recent development, created in response to Vancouver’s housing crisis. Even though the YWCA operates 16 housing communities across Metro Vancouver, there are still over 1,000 families on the waitlist for a safe place to call home.

Every family deserves a safe and happy holiday. By attending Homes For The Holidays, you can help the YWCA make those wishes a reality.
