Home sales in Metro Vancouver were up 64 per cent year over year in September. Last year this time the sales of homes took a dive due to changes to mortgage lending rules.
The latest information from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver indicates 2,483 sales, up from 1,516 this time last year.
Real estate sales have been strong in the Metro Vancouver region the last few months.
The average home in Greater Vancouver is $601,900. This is down 0.7 per cent compared to this time last year.
