The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra will be putting on a special screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic slasher, Psycho, complete with a live orchestral score.
The movie will be played along with the original sound effects and voice track, however the music will be played live by the VSO.
The spine-tingling score from Psycho can only get creepier when played live, really. Fair warning: you’ll probably want to lock the bathroom door before taking a shower after experiencing the Hitchcock classic like this.
The VSO at the Movies: Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho
Where: Orpheum Theatre – 601 Smithe Street, Vancouver
When: Wednesday, October 12; 7:30 pm
Tickets: Start at $29. Click here to purchase.
