Vancouver is getting ready to go green for the biggest Irish cultural celebration of the year, St. Patrick’s Day.
It’s a chance to vibe with the Irish, just as the Irish do. Everything you know about Ireland (leprechauns included) will be celebrated on Saturday, March 17. And you don’t need to spend the entire day in the pub with a drink in hand, but we understand if you choose to do so.
You can catch the laugh O’ the Irish with Classic TheatreSports at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm, followed by a crazy Celtic version of Ok Tinder. All of the shows will feature Irish-themed improv, literally scenes made up entirely of Irish phrases, roving lucky charm leprechauns, and the clever Celtic Colleen – who will make up custom limericks on the spot.
Of course, there are going to be some awesome drink specials available; it is an Irish celebration, after all.
To help you get into the ‘spirits of the evening,’ you can enjoy pints of Guinness, shots of Jameson’s, and green beer for only $6.75 each. Slainte to that. Plus, you can save a bit O’ green from now through March 5 if you purchase a full-price ticket to any, or all of the three shows on March 17. You’ll receive one additional ticket (buy one get one free) with the promo code SHAMROCK2018.
Each is expected to be jammers, so make sure you get your tickets via VTSL before they sell out. Or, you could have the real luck of the Irish and go along to the show with your friend for free. Simply enter the contest below to be in with a chance of winning.
Any which way, you’ll have an unforgettable Paddy’s Day, and that’s no blarney.
