Highway 1 Closed Westbound East of Kensington Due to 5 Car Accident

The morning commute for those heading westbound on Highway one will be a brutal one as Highway one has been closed (around 7:20 a.m. this morning) westbound east of Kensington due to 5 car accident including a jackknifed semi.

Traffic is being detoured via Gaglardi. Drivers are told use Loughheed Highway or alternate methods.

According to numerous reports, cars have not moved in over a half hour.
