Streetwear fans, Herschel Supply has teamed up with WTAPS Reconnaissance to launch a limited, surplus-inspired capsule collection.

The partnership is the second of its kind with the Tokyo-based, military-inspired label. In 2017, the brands released a small accessories capsule with the digital camo ‘SNEAK’ range.

But for their latest collaboration, they have designed a line of three new silhouettes with WTAPS’s signature military colour. This includes the RP messenger bag, surplus-inspired Vessel backpack, and Battery carry-on luggage.

Each product is made using durable 915D Cordura fabric, available in burnt olive and woodland camo colours.

Functionality is at the core of each design with features including an internal storage sleeve and front zip mesh pocket on the RP bag, and the Vessel backpack’s fleece-lined 15” laptop sleeve and air mesh trolley sleeve.

The RP and Vessel also allow for the quick organization of devices and essentials with Prusik cord zipper pulls.

When it comes to travelling with the Battery, it’s got an impact-resistant ABS resin shell, a retractable multi-stage locking trolley handle, and multi-directional dual polyurethane wheels for maneuverability.

The carry-on case also has an inset travel sentry-approved TSA combination zipper lock, as well as embossed WTAPS and Herschel Supply rubber labels.

The limited surplus-inspired capsule collection is now available for purchase at select global stockists. Meanwhile, the woodland camo colourway is sold exclusively at Herschel Supply’s Gastown store in Vancouver. (Holiday gift ideas, anyone?)
