What is Concrete Hero?
Concrete Hero is the ultimate urban obstacle challenge, helping to raise money and awareness for BC Cancer Foundation (BCCF). People of all ages and athletic abilities will challenge themselves in a unique urban obstacle adventure through the streets and alleyways of downtown Vancouver. Crawl your way through the “Second Beach” Dash, scale over parked cars in the “Lions Gate” Lockdown, climb your way up the “Chief,” swing your way over “Lost Lagoon” within falling in and come face-to-face with the city’s elements like you’ve always wanted during this 9km chip-timed course.
It takes strength in numbers to change the future of healthcare. Philanthropy is the fuel that keeps the BC Cancer Agency’s research engine running, and the money raised through Concrete Hero directly funds the work of the Agency throughout B.C. This makes all Heroes partners in discovery. With philanthropy and research working together, BCCF can achieve their vision of a world free from cancer.
Concrete Hero is not just for extreme athletes or gym-junkies, it’s for anyone who wants to challenge themselves for a great cause and have a ton of fun while doing it!
