Welcome to the club: Heritage Asian Eatery now offers weekend brunch service
It’s been almost five months since Heritage Asian Eatery opened its doors last October, and now, the popular counter-service restaurant has decided to start serving Vancouver’s favourite meal: weekend brunch.
Known for its delicious dishes that incorporate Far East flavours and locally-sourced ingredients, Heritage will now offer weekend brunch service in addition to its sit-down and take-out breakfast, lunch, and dinner service on the week days.
The selection of items from the 10 am to 3 pm brunch menu is fantastic. Heritage chef and co-owner Felix Zhou has fused signature authentic Asian flavours with classic mid-morning dishes we know and love.
Brunch lovers at this spot will have their pick from Benny Bowls in four varieties – Pork Belly, Lamb, Mushroom Ragout, and Peking Duck – along with Congee, which is available with Poached Oysters, Pork Belly, or Char Sui (BBQ Pork).
Other mains up for order includes the Weekend Salad made from marinated egg, crispy smoke tofu, avocado and cherry tomatoes, and “The Big One” which consists of a green onion pancake with three poached eggs, potato rosti, and duck and pork belly.
On the sweet side of things, Heritage offers Lemongrass Ginger-Infused Coconut Pudding with Blueberry and a basket of Golden Mantou with a side of Matcha Condensed Milk.
Sides on the brunch menu include this spot’s signature Five Spice Chicken Wings along with Deep Fried Cauliflower, Potato Rosti, and a Green Onion Pancake with you choice of Duck or Shiitake Roll.
Brunch at Heritage is served on weekends from 10 am to 3 pm.
