Top 25 B.C. tech companies to be showcased at Science World
Over two dozen of the province’s leading tech companies will be celebrated at NextBC in recognition of innovation in our digital media industries – and you can help choose which one earns top honours.
On May 15, the inaugural event will showcase the most innovative and game-changing technology produced by BC companies that is shaping our future and changing the way we do business
Held at Science World, this year’s event will include innovative companies from many sectors of BC’s tech ecosystem. The top 25 companies will showcase their technologies and the companies with the most outstanding technology innovation will be presented with gold, silver, bronze and audience choice awards.

Registration starts at 5:45 p.m., with the Technology Innovation Showcase and networking and audience voting beginning at 6 p.m. Following that, there will be an interview with the top five companies in the IMAX Theatre at 8 p.m. before the presentation of the awards at 9 p.m.
NextBC is brought to you by the Digital Media and Wireless Association of BC (DigiBC) and has been spearheaded by an advisory committee that represents many of our province’s digital media and tech industry veterans.
Tickets can be purchased here, with discounts given to students and members of GrowLab, Life Sciences BC, Vancouver Enterprise Forum, or current DigiBC members.
