DJ FLIPOUT (@djFlipout) – Don’t let his job at the Top 40 Radio Station fool you, Flipout is a very educated genre-blind musical connoisseur and b-boy for life, having battled and won many local M.C, D.J, & b-boy competitions! Plus he’s toured with KRS-One and The Liks, and has served as DJ for among others, Raekwon (Wu-Tang), Talib Kweli, and Jin the MC! Flipout has opened for Jay Z, Biz Markie, Grandmaster Flash, Afrika Bambaataa, Ice Cube, Lil Jon and Jermaine Dupri among others. Flipout has enjoyed DJing alongside DJ Vice, DJ Starting from Scratch, DJ Spider, Questlove (the Roots), DJ Kemo, DJ Eleven, Team Canada, eH!Team and Ali Shaheed Muhammed (A Tribe Called Quest/Lucy Pearl). With his long-time companions Jay Swing (those mf’s) and Zak Santiago (los hermanos libres), Flipout can be found any night of the week making very diverse crowds go crazy! And you thought you knew him, huh? Did we mention that his all hip-hop mixshow with Jay Swing was named “Best Mixshow in Canada” 2 years in a row by the entire Canadian Urban Music Industry? Everyone from Ghostface to Kanye to Common had love for Straight Goods radio! In fact, The Godfather of Hip-hop, Afrika Bambaataa reached out to Flipout to make him an honorary member of the Universal Zulu Nation!

MARLEY SNOW – Marley was born and raised in Victoria. After high school he decided that there was more to life than island life and spent a few years travelling and working across Canada. During his journeys he did everything from driving big rig trucks for the oil industry of Alberta to guiding kayak expeditions through the gulf islands. After a few years and multiple careers he decided there was a justification for education and went back to school for finance in Vancouver. For the last number of years he has worked for the wealth management division of TD Bank Financial Group and is also the author of the popular Wise Investor publication. In his free time Marley enjoys soccer, snowboarding, fishing and more recently scuba diving. He has also been told by friends that he plays a respectable game of golf but that might just be because he never shows up with an empty cooler. When he’s not working or playing hard in the lower mainland he enjoys hopping on a plane destine for tropical weather. Marley’s ideal evening would coincidently include a helicopter tour around the city and bottle of wine shared over a nice meal with a waterfront view!

RYAN YAO – Graduated in Kinesiology and Health Science from the University of British Columbia, Ryan has taken on various jobs and events benefiting children with special needs. His passion for working with children and the community is seen in the countless lives he touches working for Canucks Autism Network as their Sports and REC Coordinator. Ryan’s hobbies include playing volleyball, basketball, soccer, snowboarding – basically he just loves sports. He also enjoys FOOD! Luckily we live in Vancouver and have a great assortment of awesome cuisine. Ryan also loves to travel and is always itching to visit more sites around the world

If not, she’s tweeting about the #Canucks, trying to retrace the steps of the night before or posting Instagram pictures of Miga. If you know her, you’ve probably attended one of her many events before, trying to save the world one charity fundraiser at a time. If you know her, you’ll know she’s kinda weird. Find out for yourself if it’s a good weird or a bad weird

DJ YURIE (@ChristineYurie) – When she’s not surrounding herself with her passion for music, Christine Yurie Colling keeps in touch with her roots with a healthy obsession of sushi. Currently pursuing studies in radio broadcasting, her alter ego comes out at night when she transforms into DJ Yurie.
