Hawkers Market and Flook announce largest and FREE #Hawkersfest
Hawkers Market returns for its largest and most exciting event ever that will bring together 50+ local food businesses, pop-up chefs, local artisans, independent craftspeople, art collectives and food trucks.

Hawkerfest presented by Flook will take place at the sprawling Rocky Mountaineer train station, just east of Main Street, on Saturday, May 30 with doors opening at 5 p.m. The iconic Rocky Mountaineer train station will be bustling with dozens of vendors and thousands of attendees. Entertainment will include local DJs, a band and a Fresh Air cinema showing of Wes Anderson’s cult classic ‘The Life Aquatic’.
For the first time, admission to this marquee Hawkers Market will be free thanks to Flook, BC’s mobile marketplace. Flook is a brand new buy and sell app, helping British Columbians discover, buy and sell great items right in their neighbourhood.

Indigenous teas and botanical sodas, wild and foraged right here in B.C.
Popular Vancouver pop-up chef mainstay, Juno Kim is back with his third installment at Hawkers Market. Expect a degustation style approach to the menu and over the top creativity.
Chef Ling Wong returns with her Asian hawker-style street food including the hit octopus dishes that were sold out in the first hour of the last Hawkers event.
Nice Vice Ice Cream: Brand new Vancouver-based, vegan ice cream brand – all of the flavour, none of the guilt.
Ichiyo’s Koicha, or, “Thick Tea”. A concentrated high grade Matcha with the consistency of wet paint, typically served only for special occasions. Think of it as, “Matcha Espresso”
