Friday Night Live is back at Hastings Racecourse

After a long week at work, you owe it to yourself to make the most of your weekend, starting with a big Treat Yo Self moment on Friday.

The best part is that you don’t even need to leave Vancouver to enjoy an incredible experience that starts your weekend with a bang, because Hastings Racecourse will be hosting its exhilarating Friday Night Live series from July 19 to September 6 only, starting at 7 pm every Friday.

We can’t think of a better way to spend a night out with your favourite people than taking in all of the racing action from the sidelines with a drink (or food, or both) in hand. Plus, you can literally go there straight from work.

Friday Night Live has been a must-see for the past 10 years. Since admission is completely free, it’s an ideal night out if you’re on a budget.

This year, every Friday Night Live event will feature a cool playlist with their resident DJs spinning your favourite tracks all night long with a great mix of Hip Hop, R&B, Old School, Reggaeton, Top 40, EDM Music, and more.

As well as the amazing music and electric atmosphere, you can catch races happening under the stars. You don’t need to know anything about horse racing or be an expert to place a bet because they start as low as $2.

There’s also going to be outdoor beer tents with a great selection of highballs, your favourite beers on tap, as well as food trucks on site, so you’ll have everything you need for an incredible night out in one spot. Not forgetting the legendary Silks Buffet which offers the most incredible views of the racecourse and the mountains in the backdrop.

Spending a night out at the races gives you the perfect opportunity to get dressed up in a suit or a dress, styled with a fascinator or a fedora if you feel like it. Because, why not?
