Harry Potter Picnic and Muggle Quidditch Match at David Lam Park

On Monday, July 11th at 5:30pm Harry Potter fans Yaletown will be invaded by Harry Potter fans. They will come in droves to David Lam Park to celebrate the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Fans are encouraged to come down in costume and in true Harry Potter Picnic form –bring a picnic blanket and Harry Potter-themed snack or baked good to share. Prizes will be awarded to the first 15 people to come to the park in costume. Furthermore, another 10 will win for bringing the most creative snack or baked good. Prizes include advance screening passes, t-shirts, promotional prize packs and gift baskets provided by The Candy Aisle.

While enjoying the sun and snacks, participants are also welcome to watch a game of Muggle Quidditch with brooms provided by the Granville Island Broom Company. There will also be chances to learn how to play if individuals think they have what it takes to be the next star Seeker! This is a fun family-friendly event to commemorate the last Harry Potter film and is guaranteed to be magical.
