A Harbour Air floatplane is being rescued after landing in the ocean near Tsawwassen.
According to the local Coast Guard and CBC News, the rescue operation was launched after the plane’s pilot landed in the water because he was feeling faint.
A hovercraft has evacuated the pilot and six passengers and a second Harbour Air plane is taking the passengers to Vancouver.
Images of the plane were tweeted by @MoyraatMagnify who was traveling on a nearby BC Ferry when ferry employees announced the vessel would be assisting the down plane.
