A “fantastic art show”, the Bob Ross Art Show, will be happening in The Lower Mainland on February 22.
The art show, dedicated to the well-known artist Bob Ross, is from the Joy of Painting.
“Our art shows are based around promoting accessibility and inclusivity of art. We encourage everyone to submit and to also organize their own art parties in advance! We want you to have fun and be a part of the event.”
Though the following video wasn’t created by the art show’s organizers, they “are hoping to inspire such creativity and hilarity by encouraging everyone to make art (no holds bar!) and submit it to the show.”

The Bob Ross Art Show organizers will be accepting art submissions until Friday, February 14. Though anyone can submit art work, the organizers have just one criteria: the art must pertain to Bob Ross. Pictures of art work can be emailed to [email protected]. Artists will receive 100% of their commissions on opening night.
The event will run at the Fall Tattoo & Art Gallery (644 Seymour Street) from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. on opening night and then from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. each night, from Saturday, February 23 through Sunday, March 23.
Entry to opening night is by donation; proceeds will go to the Positive Women’s Network, which is a non-profit organization that supports women with HIV.
