It’s that time of the year again. The air is crisp, pumpkin spice lattes are flowing and the great season of Halloween is almost upon us. Once again the crew at VcB worked tirelessly to come up with a great list for Halloween costumes. So without further ado here are our top ten mens and women’s costumes.
Top 10 Men’s Costumes
1. Movies: Green Lantern, Thor, Captain America, Green Hornet, Optimus Prime, Harry Potter, Harry Potter, Jack Sparrow, a hall pass
2. Medieval Knight, Julius Caesar, or Spartan (here is the one night you can dress up like you have a good physique)
3. Fireman (best to pick up chicks)
4. Political Leaders: Harper, Obama, George Dubya, Ghadafi
5. Steve Jobs (jeans, glasses and black turtleneck plus transplanted liver or ipad)
6. 80’s Rock Dudes (hair metal is scary business)
7. Pimp (it ain’t easy but it’s necessary)
8. Video Games: Super Mario Brother, Marcus Fenix, Link, Angry Birds
9. Domo(you’re in Vancouver, want to pick up an Asian chick, dress up like Domokun)
10. TV: Charlie Sheen, Don Draper, Pauly D, Spartacus, Boardwalk Empire gangster, Captain Kirk, Ari Gold
Top 10 Women’s Costumes (note: the word sexy/slutty could be put in front of most of these costumes)
1. Cop (perfect if you’re one of those girls that already have handcuffs)
2. Schoolgirl
3. Cheerleader (if you can do the splits or kick really high this costume is calling you)
4. TV/Movie/Video Games: Snooki, Princess Leia, Smurf, Bridesmaid, Sailor Moon, Hello Kitty, Angry Bird
5. Sailor
6. French Maid (always hot)
7. Comic Book: Wonder Woman, Catwoman (comic book nerds will be all over you)
8. Nurse
9. Pirate
10. Music: Lady Gaga (as man character?), Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj (with fake butt), Taylor Swift, Beyonce (with baby bump)
Top 10 Couples Costumes
1. Mr. & Mrs. Pac-Man
2. Cop and Robber
3. Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich (better work on walking in unison for this one)
4. Aladdin and Jasmin
5. Plug and Socket
6. Pocahontas and John Smith
7. Devil and Angel
8. Stanley Cup Riot Kissing Couple (I suppose this will be a lot easier to do if you’re white)
