The great thing about growing up is you get the most out of Halloween twice. When you’re a kid, there’s the marvel of going out at night and getting paid in candy and costume for it. Then a slump hits. You’re too cool for school — and you’re probably in high school.
Then there’s that second round. The young adult round. Costumes become ironic, or topical, or they reference poorly chosen characters – characters both not in the sweet spot of nostalgia, and not current. Those are my favourite. So, so bad.
We’re looking for all of it! From Halloween’s first and second rounders, send us everything! If we like it, we’ll include it in our Halloween compilation this year.
