There's a lush secret garden popping up in Vancouver this summer

Summer in Vancouver calls for ‘insta-worthy’ outdoor events curated with thoughtful experiences in mind. If you’ve never been to one, we know just the spot.

On Friday, August 9, you’ll hear the sweet sounds of live music being played from a secret oasis in the sky, and you’ll be intrigued to seek out the source of this magical mystery. Okay, we’ll reveal the location; but remember, it’s literally an elevated affair.

That’s right, the third-floor patio of The Westin Grand will be transforming into the Growers Secret Garden pop-up, from 12-6pm the event will be free and open to the public (19+).

With wooden picnic tables, blankets, and pillows, you’ll have plenty of space to soak up the atmosphere with friends. (And take some unforgettable pictures in an IG-friendly oasis with a flower wall and pop-up flower boutique, obviously.)

On top of all those good vibes, you’ll also get to enjoy a sample of the brand new Growers Rosé Cider at the bar while you’re there (limited to one per guest). And don’t forget to hit up the pop-up food stands with treats like artisanal popsicles (as long as supplies last).

Dance to live music which will be played throughout the duration of the event, and try your luck at Jenga, and lawn games like the always-enjoyable bean bag toss. There will also be a photographer onsite taking and printing out photos at a photo booth, so you’ll have every opportunity to (hashtag) make memories.
