Two out of three groundhogs recommend that most Canadians trade in their winter jackets for something lighter as Canadian groundhogs Wiarton Willie and Shubenacadie Sam predict an early spring. However, their U.S. counterpart Punxsutawney Phil predicted more winter is upon us. Phil, seen above, is determined to see an early spring, so he has sprung into action the only way Americans know how, guns blazing. If old man winter knocks on his door, Phil is ready to go postal on him.
This week in Vancouver has us all thinking of spring and forgetting that week of nasty winter weather. All things considering this winter hasn’t been that bad, bring on spring and the cherry blossoms.
