Three Superstore employees in Surrey test positive for COVID-19

Multiple employees from two grocery stores have tested positive on presumptive tests for COVID-19 in Surrey.

Loblaw Companies Ltd. has reported that two team members working at a Superstore location at 7550 King George Boulevard in Surrey have tested positive.

The last day the team members worked was on November 28 and November 30.

Another Superstore employee who works at the brand’s 2332 160th Street store in Surrey has also tested positive. This individual last worked on December 2.

Health officials in British Columbia will provide a written COVID-19 update on Tuesday afternoon.

The update follows a total of 2,020 new test-positive coronavirus cases announced on Monday, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the province to 38,152.
