Grey whale visits Vancouver for second day in a row (PHOTOS, VIDEOS)

Dec 20 2017, 1:42 am

For the second consecutive day, a grey whale was spotted feeding in Vancouver’s local waters.

The adult grey whale was first seen just off the west side of Stanley Park in the early afternoon. It then made a venture to Ambleside Beach at West Vancouver before returning to the Vancouver side of Burrard Inlet.

This is likely the same grey whale that was sighted swimming close to the Stanley Park seawall on Tuesday afternoon.

There have been a number of grey whale sightings this year, including another two-day spotting in the same area in mid-September. A pod of orca whales were also seen frolicking in Burrard Inlet in June.
