Two arrested, two hospitalized after stabbing on Granville Street Saturday

Two men in their 20s are recovering in hospital, after being stabbed on Granville Street early Saturday morning.

Just after 3:30 am, Vancouver police responded to reports of “a large fight” on Granville Street near Davie Street.

Upon their arrival, officers found the two men suffering from stab wounds. The pair were taken to hospital by ambulance.

VPD Const. Jason Doucette said witnesses on the scene were able to provide a description of the suspects and they were arrested “blocks away.”

Now, detectives from the VPD’s Major Crime Section are speaking with the victims, witnesses, and suspects in an attempt to determine what took place, and why.

The two suspects – both of them Surrey residents – have been arrested and remain in custody.‎
