On Tuesday, Grant Hill Estates – a joint development by Voth Bros. Developments Ltd., Paul Hayes Ltd. and First National Properties – unveiled their charity home in Maple Ridge. Net proceeds from the sale of the home will go towards supporting the new Canuck Place Children’s Hospice – Dave Lede House in Abbotsford.

“Not only has a beautiful home been crafted for someone to live in, but the partners and trades are also building courage for families at Canuck Place,” said Margaret McNeil, CEO of Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.

“The net proceeds of the sale of this home will support children and families who need pediatric palliative care in the Fraser Valley and across British Columbia. On behalf of B.C.’s children facing life-threatening illnesses – and the families that love them – we extend our gratitude to the team behind the Grant Hill Estates Canuck Place Show Home.”

Dave Lede House is Canuck Place Children’s Hospice’s second provincial location. CPCH is currently in Phase 2 of a four-phase opening plan. Currently Canuck Place is providing community-centered services such as consultation visits by physicians, nurses and counsellors in hospitals and homes, individual and group grief and loss support, and recreational therapy for children and families on the Canuck Place program through the Fraser Valley hospice.
