Grand Villa Casino Recreates and Pays for Couples Vegas Style Wedding

Jim Mellish and Danielle Callaghan planned to get married in Vegas. They wanted to recreate the magic moment when Jim asked Danielle for her hand in marriage at Treasure Island.

However, someone in the Danielle’s family fell ill.

They had to leave early before they could wed and were not reimbursed for costs already incurred for their Vegas wedding.

As Jim and Danielle played poker at Grand Villa Casino in Burnaby they were talking about their troubles on the gaming floor. Word travelled through the casino and the general manager and his team heard. They tracked down the couple to help make their dreams come true and recreate the wedding they had envisioned.

Grand Villa paid for the couple’s wedding including their room for two nights, flowers, and dinner that evening. Another feel good story this holiday season.
