Love the handmade movement? Vancouver’s largest indie craft fair, Got Craft?, is back April 27-28, 2013 with top-notch vendors, new DIY workshops, and delicious food carts, all at a brand new home at the Maritime Labour Centre.

“After the success of the 2012 holiday show, we knew we had outgrown the Royal Canadian Legion and needed a larger, more permanent home,” says Andrea Tucker.  “We are so excited to be moving to the Maritime Labour Centre. We love the Hastings Sunrise area so it’s the perfect new space.”

Returning to the show this year include fan favourites like Mellifera Bees, Draw Me a Lion, and Element Botanicals! Noteworthy newcomers include PassedOutDog, which makes handmade shoes, and Karla’s Specialteas, which makes high quality loose-leaf teas, gift sets, and charming teapots!

“I can’t wait to bring on barbeque season with a screen-printed apron from Robbie Vergara,” says Andrea. “I also love the printed pillow cases and tea towels from one of our new vendors, Lemonni. Holy, they are cute!”

Those looking to add some jazz to their crafting skills can try out the many workshops, such as hand sewing with Spool of Thread, embroidery with author Leanne Prain, and letterpress with Sam Bradd.

Be one of the first 50 guests through the door each day to receive a free swag bag! Visit Got Craft? April 27-28, 2013 from 10AM-5PM at The Maritime Labour Centre, located at 1880 Triumph Street in Vancouver, BC. Tickets are $3 (cash at the door) and children under 10 are free.
