Are you looking for a fun event to take your mom to on Mother’s Day? Well, if she’s into crafts, do-it-yourself (D.I.Y.) projects, tasty treats, and activities along those lines, then check out Got Craft? Spring Edition. The annual festival is coming back to Vancouver in May.
“Got Craft? aims to bring together a community that fosters handmade and D.I.Y. culture. Founded in 2007, Got Craft? is held twice a year in May and December featuring 75+ handmade designers, craft workshops, tasty treats, music, FREE swag bags, and an average attendance of 6000 a year.”
The fair is celebrating a milestone; the indie craft fair is hosting its 15th show next month.
Got Craft? Spring Edition will feature the following activities and displays:
- Tasty treats, including hand crafted baked goods, and chocolate;
- A chance to participate in D.I.Y. workshops and make a craft project to take home; and,
- Browse through a range of hand-crafted products, including jewelry, clothing, ceramics, and even plush toys!
And, the first 50 people to arrive each day will receive a free bag filled with products from Got Craft?’s vendors and sponsors.
The Got Craft? Spring Edition event is scheduled for Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event will be held at the Maritime Labour Centre at 1880 Triumph Street in Vancouver.
Admission to the Got Craft? Spring Edition fair is $3 at the door. Children 10 and under get in for free.
