If you saw a stampede of skateboarders taking the Vancouver streets by storm on Wednesday, you just witnessed Go Skateboarding Day 2017.

Hundreds of skateboarders took a ride down the streets, sidewalks, railings, pretty much anything they could get their skate on.

The skaters headed to several different areas during the day, including the Terry Fox Plaza, Strathcona Skatepark, and Vancouver Art Gallery.
