Fundraising pages set up to help find missing hiker Gordon Sagoo

Two fundraising pages have been started by the family of a hiker who has been missing for nearly one week – since Sunday, August 14.

Gordon Sagoo was hiking Baby Munday Peak in the Cheam Range in Chilliwack on August 14 when he went missing. Chilliwack Search and Rescue did a scour of the area, but failed to turn anything up.

Now his family wants to keep the search going for Sagoo, as they believe he doesn’t have the proper equipment to make it through several days lost in the wilderness.

“Chilliwack SAR, Port Coquitlam SAR, Surrey SAR and Lions Bay SAR are out searching for him and we are so thankful for all their efforts. We set up this fundraising page to keep the search going to bring Gord home,” reads the GoFundMe page set up by Amandeep Sagoo.

The two fundraising pages have managed to amass over $24,000 at the time of publishing.
