Gord Bamford and Joe Nichols coming to Abbotsford

Dec 20 2017, 5:06 am

It’s country music at its finest. Gord Bamford (22-time CCMA Award winner) along with four-time Grammy nominee Joe Nichols are excited to be making a stop in Abbotsford on Thursday, April 14 for their co-headline “Certified Country Tour”.

With his chart-topping single “Don’t Let Her Be Gone,” Gord Bamford is one of Canada’s most decorated country artists. Influenced by Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, and Johnny Cash, Bamford brings his heartfelt sincerity to each song.

“I write songs that people can connect with and live their life through,” says Bamford.

As one of Country’s most praised traditional artists, Joe Nichols’ six #1 hits and eight Top Ten singles make him a familiar voice to Canadian fans. In 2014, Nichols became one of only two artists to spend more than two weeks at #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart when ‘Yeah” held the top spot for three weeks.

“I love the people here in the West Coast – beautiful landscapes, and great country music fans,” Nichols shares.

So whether their songs were written in a mountain cabin, a ranch on the plains, in a neighbourhood pub or a modern recording studio, the heart of the genre lies in the memorable stories that are told. Don’t miss the chance to hear those stories live in Abbotsford this April.

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.
