Finally, Google has incorporated song lyrics into their search results thanks to a partnership with Toronto-based LyricFind.

No longer will you have to scroll and click on a website when Googling song lyrics. Behold, this is what happens when you Google Rihanna’s song “Work” (a tune you may have issues understanding):

According to a release from LyricFind, music from more than 4,000 publishers will be available via Google’s new search results and within Google Play Music.

“We’re happy to expand the depth and quality of lyrics available on Google’s services,” says LyricFind CEO Darryl Ballantyne. “We’re working together to make lyrics available to a larger audience in a faster and more efficient way.”

The company says incorporating song lyrics into Google’s search results will allow them to better monetize song lyrics for artists.

“LyricFind has been the main driver behind creating a legal and global lyric infrastructure for all platforms, and its partnership with Google further strengthens this mission. LyricFind collects new royalties for songwriters and rights holders, and benefits music fans who engage more easily than ever with lyrics that inspire them,” reads the release.
