The road leading to Golden Ears Provincial Park reopened just after noon Sunday, allowing hikers and campers to enter and exit the park once again.
A BC Parks spokesperson told Daily Hive there is no danger to those using the park today. The checkpoint to verify hiking day-use passes is operating again, and those camping were unaffected.
Fern Crescent was closed for several hours Sunday morning because of a medical emergency, preventing drivers from entering or leaving.
Fern crescent Road is now reopened in both directions. Thanks for your patience.
