Get free McDonald's McFlurries in Vancouver this weekend
Just in time for this B.C. Day long weekend’s hot temperatures and festive events, McDonald’s Canada is giving out free McFlurries at select locations in Vancouver.
The company’s McFlurry Truck Adventure is making its way across the country to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fast food chain’s McFlurry menu selection. The food truck will be making stops at two Vancouver events this weekend to give out free McFlurries to locals.
The locations are the Davie Street Block Party on Friday, July 31 and UBC’s Color Me Rad 5K Run on Saturday, August 1.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, for a limited time only McDonald’s has also introduced a new menu concoction for the cold, sweet treat: the Red Velvet McFlurry with Oreo cookie pieces.

Davie Street Block Party
- When: Friday, July 31 from 6 p.m. to midnight
- Where: Davie Street Block Party, located on Davie Street between Davie and Jervis streets
Color Me Rad 5K Run
- When: Saturday, August 1 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Where: Color Me Rad 5K Run at UBC Thunderbird Stadium
