You may want to hold off on filling up your gas tank until Friday, as prices in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland are expected to drop by 5¢ overnight.
“We have seen now a 20¢ per litre decrease since the beginning of the month, and that has a lot to do with the refiners in Washington State,” Dan McTeague of gasbuddy.com told Daily Hive.

“They have seen a big build in inventory, and that is why prices are reflecting supply and demand, and the (decrease) we see for tomorrow reflects that.”
Tomorrow will be the best day to fill up as McTeague says the cheaper prices will probably not last long. “We will have to see how it goes. I am looking at the markets right now for the Pacific Northwest (and) you could see a 1¢ increase from Saturday.”
