
Every hound, dragon, raven, and lion in Canada watched last night’s finale of HBO’s massively popular epic fantasy series Game of Thrones.
The preliminary overnight audience for the Season 4 finale was nearly one million viewers, winning Sunday as the most-watched pay and specialty program in Canada.
Last night’s finale capped a record-breaking fourth season, which saw Game of Thrones become the most-watched series in Canadian Pay television history with an average audience of more than 1.2 million viewers.
As well, Game of Thrones pushed HBO Canada to become the #2 Canadian network overall behind CTV in the Sunday 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. time slot.
