New Vegas-style strip club planned for Vancouver

Strip clubs in Vancouver have been dying and closing their doors for years, however, one new establishment is promising to turn things around. A new strip club called the Gallery Show Lounge is set to open in Vancouver.

Food carts, craft beer and strip clubs. What American city does that remind you of?

If you guessed Portland then you are correct. Vancouver has successfully taken two of those three wildly popular elements from Portland and incorporated them into our urban fabric. Could strip clubs be the next thing?

Portland has one strip club for every 9,578 residents. There are over 50 such establishments in the small sized American city.

In comparison, Vancouver has less than a handful. The legendary No. 5 Orange has made inroads to appeal to the young urban male and female while Brandi’s still attracts the higher end clientele. And then, there is the Penthouse.

The Gallery Show Lounge club will feature two champagne rooms, with a capacity for 10 people and perfect for those that seek privacy. They will have a shuttle service that will pick you up and drop you off safely home before they close at 3 a.m. The aim is to have a Vegas style experience in Vancouver.

No opening date has been set yet. The Gallery Show Lounge will be located in Marpole at the old Wild Coyote Night Club location (1312 Southwest Marine Drive).
