Vancouver prepare to be terrified from October 14 to October 31, 2011 when Playland at the PNE rolls out its annual Fright Nights scare fest, one of Canada’s biggest and best Halloween extravaganzas. A product of extreme disaster, Singe the clown returns as your host and he is anxiously waiting your arrival. Dare to visit the most terrifying Halloween event in Vancouver, where five of the most frightening haunted houses around will have you running scared. Car-n-Evil, Haunted House of Clowns, will leave guests in a state of fear and clown paranoia. Car-n-Evil features a haunted house in 3D, as well as a freaky clown-themed surrounding area. Visit Haunted Mansion where ghosts and spirits roam the hallways sending an eerie shiver up your spine. Darkness gives you a glance into the world of evil tortured souls and creatures that once roamed the earthy – and are now forever trapped in a pit of despair. Also not for the faint of heart, Hollywood Horrors and Asylum – enter only if you dare! All five of the Fright Nights haunted houses are manufactured by world-renowned haunted house designers – Scarefactory.
Monsters of Schlock return to Fright Nights for another year of pranks, dares and unmentionable stunts, including a gruesome new Guinness World Record attempt. The Monsters of Schlock are two modern-day daredevils with two diverse backgrounds devoted to one motto: violence is funny.
Kinshira Fire Troupe are back for a second year and are sure to amaze! Immerse yourself in the world of symmetry, passion, dance and fire as these creatures of the night draw you near with their enigmatic instruments of fire.

Note: Due to the overwhelming demand, Fright Nights is putting a cap on the number of tickets sold per day. Tickets must be purchased for a specific date. Event nights have limited availability and may sell out. Admission includes unlimited access to all five haunted houses, two shows and 17 rides. (Additional charge for the Hellevator, Drop Zone and Revelation.) Parking is NOT included.
Warning! Definitely not recommended for ages 12 and under, seniors 65+, people with sensitivity to strobe lighting, people with high blood pressure, heart conditions, pregnant women or scaredy cats. Absolutely no guest costumes allowed.
