Fright Nights at PNE to allow Halloween costumes October 17 and 18

Dec 20 2017, 1:43 am

Fright Nights is about to get a lot more frightening.

In past years, Fright Nights, the annual Halloween celebration at the PNE, has not allowed costumes to be worn at the event. But this year, on October 17 and October 18, that all changes.

The costume privileges extend to those who attend the Halloween Expo, which takes place in the PNE forum and features arts, films, comics, anime, game toys, live music, food, and more. It attracts thousands of visitors every year, and is one of the city’s most popular Halloween events.

While people are encouraged to come in their Hallows Eve best, they outlined a few rules:

  • No masks or face paint
  • No blood or gore
  • No firecrackers, fireworks or explosives of any kind
  • No hateful costumes
  • No replica weapons of any kind will be permitted
  • No nudity or adult material
