These are Canada's friendliest towns and cities in 2021

Canadians are already regarded as being friendly but these towns are even friendlier, making them the friendliest in the entire country.

So much friendly.

The list, courtesy of Expedia.ca, ranked Canadian towns and communities that all had “at least 100 reviews and a four-star rating or higher” on the travel company’s website.

The list spans coast to coast, including towns in Nova Scotia across the country to British Columbia, with a few stops in between.

“Did a local provide an outstanding dinner recommendation? Were you greeted with smiles and hellos (or at least smiling eyes over a mask)? Was there just overall feel-good energy?” asks Expedia.ca. “These might be some of the random acts of friendliness that earned these cities and towns the highest mentions of ‘friendly, friendliest, amiable.'”

The list was compiled from traveller reviews (remember travel?) from January 2019 to December 2020.
